I have written poetry for as long as I can remember. Sometimes the words came for celebrations, sometimes for people I loved, and sometimes simply because something inside me needed saying.
Over the years, poetry became another way of telling stories—capturing a person, a moment, a feeling, or a memory in a way ordinary conversation sometimes could not.

Some poems begin with an idea. Others begin with a person, a celebration, a loss, or a moment that deserve to be remembered. Over the years, I have written poems for family, friends, students, colleagues, celebrations, tributes, and special occasions. Putting those moments into verse has been my way of honoring the people and experiences that mattered enough to become words on a page.
